Nassime Chida is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Romance Studies at Duke University and Associate Editor of Digital Dante. Her work focuses on Dante and the political context of his work. She received her PhD from the Department of Italian and the Institute for Comparative Literature and Society at Columbia University (2019). She is completing a book on the historical and political dimensions of the Divine Comedy.
