Katie Cannon is a PhD student in the department of Italian at Columbia University. She received her BA in Medieval & Renaissance Studies and Romance Studies (French and Italian) cum laude from Duke University, where she was a member of Gamma Kappa Alpha, The National Italian Honor Society.
